Fairy Amber would like to share a special story with you
Once upon a time in the beautiful forest filled with native trees, beneath the Kauri trees there was a beautiful gem called Amber forming from the gum of the tree, thousands of years in the making.
One day man began to clear away the beautiful forest. Cutting down all the trees, destroying the natural habitats of our native animals and most importantly destroying the homes of the Fairies.
The Fairies of the forest were heart broken that their beautiful home was being destroyed. The Fairies had to have a meeting. The Fairy Queen said "we must do something about this", looking down she saw some Amber sparkling on the ground. The Fairy Queen used her magical powers to turn the special gem into a Fairy to help protect the forest.
"Little gem you will now be known as Fairy Amber, you need to help protect our beautiful homes. Go and teach the children how they can help us".
